This series forms the final chapter of Dreams of Nereids: Metamorphosis, a three‑part underwater project shaped by the stories Liberation, Reunite, and Rebirth. In Rebirth, a new presence rises from the silence of the water. A woman encounters a young girl; a symbolic image of her younger self, patiently waiting for the space to emerge and be seen. Their meeting becomes a quiet restart, a return to innocence, inner calm, and the parts of her identity that had been set aside over the years. This inner ascent carries traces of sadness and gentle melancholy, as she acknowledges what was lost along the way. Yet through this emotional passage, she allows her renewed self to step forward, embracing a more authentic, grounded, and ultimately happier version of who she is becoming. Through artistic underwater photography, Rebirth captures the moment of transformation when the past and present meet, giving rise to a self that can finally breathe again.
