The fluid nature of water makes its true color almost impossible to define. The Colorized Series builds on this, exploring the endless palette of shades that can be brought out during editing. This process is not about correcting a photograph. It is about reimagining how light, water, and human presence interact under the surface. Water gives a sense of complete creative freedom. Every image in this series carries a distinct artistic weight because it rejects the expected blue tones. By altering the colors, the water stops being just a background.
It becomes a canvas where movement and form are interpreted in a new way. Because water moves constantly and the editing relies on intuition, each piece is entirely unique. The way light bends and mixes with these specific colors can never happen the same way twice. This makes it virtually impossible to copy or recreate any single image, giving every photograph its own identity. The choice of vivid, dramatic colors is what defines the series
These intense tones build a cinematic world within each frame. This approach moves the photographs away from realism, giving them the texture, depth, and feeling of a painting.
